Jerry Stodola was elected President of Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin.

Jerry Stodola elected to Board of Directors for Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin.

SMC grew from 3 to 12 employees enabling the company to expand into the commercial construction market.

SMC joined Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin.

The Apprenticeship Program was put in place and two of the first apprentices hired are still Foreman with SMC today.

1988
SMC was founded by Jerry Stodola purchasing Fred Maas’ shares of F. Maas Construction.

Name changed to Stodola-Maas when Jerry Stodola joined the team.

Jerry Stodola becomes President/COO.

SMC is incorporated.
